Hi, I'm Jeff. I started writing production code in the 1990s, back when having a website was still a novelty. Since then I've worked through the early commercial web, the dot-com correction, the rise of enterprise SaaS, the mobile revolution, and now the move toward AI-powered systems. More than 25 years later, I still enjoy solving technical problems as much as I did on day one.
DevLab6 exists because I got tired of watching agencies choose between cheap and unreliable, or expensive and impersonal. I wanted to build something different: a company where experience, communication, and technical excellence matter more than layers of management or inflated headcounts.
Today, I lead a small, experienced team that shares those same values. We stay hands-on, communicate openly, and take ownership of every project from start to finish. As our clients grow, we grow with them, bringing the right expertise to every challenge without sacrificing the personal service that sets us apart.
Technology is constantly evolving, but my approach hasn't changed. I don't chase trends for the sake of trends. If AI can save your team real time, I'll recommend it. If WordPress is the right solution, I'll tell you. If it isn't, I won't force it. My job is to help you make the right technical decisions, not sell you the newest trend.

We evaluate every technical decision through the lens of business outcome. The best technology is the one that achieves the goal, not the most interesting, the most modern, or the one we prefer.
Engineering quality is non-negotiable.
Every project is built to the same standards we'd expect from our own partners. That means senior engineers, peer review, and automated testing. Quality isn't a premium feature. It's the baseline.
Confidentiality is foundational.
Our agency partners trust us with their most sensitive client relationships. We treat that trust as the most important thing we protect, not just legally, but operationally.
Honest counsel over comfortable agreement.
If a technical approach is wrong for the project, we say so, even when it's not what you want to hear. Agencies need partners who give them the real answer, not the easy one.
Long-term thinking over short-term wins.
We'd rather design a system that lasts five years than ship something in half the time that needs to be rebuilt. Our partners come back because we build things that hold up.
